As the toughest lesson in our flagship course Racial Unity In The Church: An Introduction, this lesson looks at how the Church in America has addressed the sin of racism in its past. If we get anything out of this lesson, it should be that the disunity we see today didn’t happen by accident. Many actions, ideas, laws, theology, and attitudes contributed to where we are as a country and as a Church. Garnering a complete understanding of the past and its effects will help to provide context to today’s problem of racial division within the Church.
